Yes. ASN stands for Autonomous System Number.

What is IP address?
IP address (an Internet Protocol address) is a numerical label assigned to each device connected to a computer network and is used for communication.

Who can get ASN and/or IP?
Private person or organization.

Is it possible to set geolocation for an IP address?
Yes. It is possible to add the “geoloc:” attribute on ORGANISATION and INET(6)NUM objects in RIPE Database to indicate where IP addresses are being used. The RIPE NCC is not a geolocation provider. You can find a list of geolocation service providers at: RIPE website
